A studio version of our popular hand-held Photometer 2, in a sloping-front benchtop enclosure.
The Photometer 2 Studio is optimised for the lower film speeds typically used in studios.
The front-mounted panel meter gives quick indication of the intensity relative to the selected exposure.
Metering sensor and frames are the same as our regular Photometer 2, with 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 options. This comprises a frame which is inserted into the camera in place of the usual film holder, which carries a sensor probe.
Like the Photometer 2 standard version it provides two "hold" memories to store two points on the image while metering a third.
A special magnetic sensor is also available designed for ultra large format users - this has a small magnetic sensor which is placed on the inside of the ground glass and manipulated with a matching magnet on the viewing side of the glass. Please see our Ultra Large Format Sensor page.
Available from 1 June
Price £250 - inclusive of shipping to most destinations (UK, EU, US, Australia/NZ - please contact us for other destinations)
Select either the probe-and-frame sensor at your format (4x5, 5x7 or 8x10) or alternatively choose the magnetic sensor option for formats larger than 8x10.
If you need both the probe-and-frame sensor AND the magnetic sensor please contact us. Meters are individually calibrated to the sensor so we will need to select matched sensors to allow interchangeability.
